New Jersey Point System Explained

NJMCDirect point system was developed to make sure that the members are able to get the most for their money. When someone has a health issue and they are advised by a physician to visit a specialist, they will be given 1 point. If they have two visits, they will receive 2 points.

They also have the option of getting up to a 25% discount on the cost of an office visit when they show up for it. They also have the option of getting 20% off pharmacies, labs, and x-rays. To get the discounts at these providers, they will need to spend a minimum of $100 for their prescription medication. The NJMCDirect point system is designed in such a way that it gives rewards to both members and non-members who use them.

There is an additional cost charged by NJMCDirect, which varies from state to state. The point programs can be used on the private insurance plans offered by these providers as well.

The member has a choice of 12 primary care plan options depending on his or her preferences and needs.

These services are available in all states except Alaska, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Massachusetts, and Vermont; however, New Jersey has made provisions for that as well. Also one may select exactly how much he wants to pay for their premium out-of-pocket expenses. It is possible to get coverage that is not so extensive with the possibility of spending more money than there is coverage for in the case of serious medical issues.
